Our Mission

Hi, I’m Jimmy DeLisi, founder of The Phoenix Rising Group. Starting this organization has been a long-time dream of mine, and it’s my way of honoring my mom. She had an incredible heart—always ready to help others, always willing to forgive, and endlessly generous. She learned that from her own mother, and her sister is the same way.
For years, my family has been there for people who are struggling, especially around the holidays. We’ve stepped in to keep the lights on, help with rent, or cover a car payment when someone was in a bind. But what really drives us is making sure kids have something to open on Christmas morning and that families have food on the table. When you have nothing, a simple gift means everything. It shows someone cares. It gives you hope and reminds you that better days are possible.
Today, we focus on three groups: children rescued from trafficking, veterans who’ve served our country, and families working hard to turn their lives around. Sometimes all it takes is one person extending a helping hand at the right moment. We want to be that hand—helping people not just survive, but truly thrive.
We started small, helping neighbors and families in our own community. But we’ve realized we can do so much more. Now we’re expanding our reach, bringing hope and support to as many people as we possibly can
